Water coloring with Art Impressions

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with a bunch of products from the Rubber Buggy Store.  Have you checked out the store lately?  It has so many wonderful new products.

I began by stamping the Mini Wooden Chair  using Ranger Shadow Grey Ink.  For additional color I used a Cool Gray Copic Marker.     I used the Flower Set to add flowers around the chair.  I first stamped the flowers with Prima inks in Electric Purple and Private Lagoon, then stamped more with Enchanted Woods ink.   To achieve the soft watery effect, I used a Tim Holtz Water Brush to blend the colors.

I used a Spellbinders Circle Die to die cut the chair, then used a Tim Holtz Water Brush with Ranger Wild Honey Distress Ink to add some color under the chair, as well as around the edges of the circle.

I used a sentiment from the Wplus 9 - Guiding Light Sentiments, stamping on white cardstock, then matted with Bazzill Easter Grass cardstock.  The card was created from purple cardstock and a scrap of pattern paper added on top.  The chair and sentiment were added to the card with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares.

This was a fun card to create.

Thank you for visiting
