Criss Cross Stamperia Lilac Card

Welcome and hope you are enjoying the wonder cards and projects by The Rubber Buggy Design Team.  Check out the latest and best products that The Rubber Buggy is selling  lately like this gorgeous Stamperia Lilac Flowers paper. The paper had the tags, printed cards and even a gorgeous envelope that could be cut out and used. You better hurry while supplies last and check out the other Stamperia paper pads and products that just came in this month to The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

The Criss Cross card is fairly easy to make.  I cut out two 6" x 12 " with  white cardstock and score each at 6".  Glue one 6" to the other 6".  Cut the front at a 45 degree angle and decorate by cutting two 6" squares of patterned.  Take one square for the center of the card.  The one 6" will be cut at a 45 degree angle and glue each part to the front of the card.  If you google by typing "images of criss cross cards" you will see lots of these cards and a few tutorials to help you.  I thought this card was easier to make than my normal cards and plus you made a decorative envelope.  If you are giving this to a person by hand, just use tissue paper to cover it up plus a ribbon on top and what a gorgeous card to give to your special person.  The border on top of the card is from the Heartfelt Creations Regal Border and Pocket die set.  I added the stunning ivory Venise Lace the front of the card.

Stamperia Lilac Flowers Paper Pad

I cut out the card, butterfly and book marker out of the Stamperia Lilac paper collection and added ribbon and Wild Orchid Roses 10mm.  I applied NUVO Glitter Gloss Pen to the butterfly and some of the printed flowers.
I made the flower using foamiran foam and Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die.  I used the largest rose die in this set. The Rubber Buggy is taking pre-orders for the LeCrea Design Foam Flower sheets and it comes in many colors to make your foamiran flowers.

This card was cut out from the Stamperia Lilac paper collection.  Isn't it beautiful with the printed lilacs and pansy.   The butterfly was cut out and I applied NUVO Glitter Gloss Pen to the butterfly to make it stand out.

Now is the time to start crafting with the gorgeous Stamperia papers and supplies along with making your foamiran flowers.  All of these supplies can be purchased at The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

Enjoy and Happy Crafting!

Let the Adventure Start

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with adventure and travel on my mind.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Using The Crafter's Workshop Adventure Stencil with Ranger Weathered Wood Distress Ink, I inked around the edge of the card.

Using Stamping Bella's Molly Takes a Detour, I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink  and colored her with Copic Markers.  For more detailing, I placed the stencil over the stamped image.

The panel was matted with brown cardstock from Lawn Fawn's Knock On Wood paper pad.  The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock, matted with brown cardstock and added to the card with foam adhesives.

Thank you for visiting

3X6 Cards with Netra Using Prima's Cherry Bloosom Paper

Hi everyone.
Spring is on its way. Maybe she taking her time but my projects are
super spring inspired lately.
Today, I am sharing some super cute cards using
some of my Larger Prima flowers

You can use ANY paper you have on hand.
Especially any papers that are older in your stash.

I cut the 12x12 sheet in 6x6 squares and folded in half.
Then I added a smaller piece of mint colored cardstock.
Finally, used some of my BIG flowers to complete the look.
So simple but very striking to the eye.
I hope you like these easy cards.

Beautiful Day Layout

Hi Bev here today. This Beautiful Day page is my eldest son's family in a group photo. Lots of amazing layers of paper all with inked edges, some naked chipboard accents and finished off with foamiran flowers and leaves.

Supply List
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Blue Fern Studios Amber and Apricot Collection,
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Oxide and Distress Ink Vintage Photo
Glue: Beacon 3-in-1
Flowers: Heartfelt Creations die. LaCrea Flower Foam
Machine: Big Shot Express
Creative Embellishments Products
Chipboards: Baby's Breath, Branches set of 3, Beautiful Day, Monarch Butterfly Set, Infinite Circle Frame
Other: lace, lace butterfly, frame die, pearl stamens

I start a page with lots of layers using Blue Fern Studio Amber and Apricot Collection with lots of  fun prints, stripes and flowers... some light and some dark for depth and dimension.

Then I place the photo and some accents in proposed positions. For this layout I also die cut outer circle accents to finish the circular chipboard frame.

Lots of branch chipboard accents along with "Beautiful Day" title and a butterfly. All these pieces were left in natural naked state. If matched the papers perfectly.

In the close ups you will see more details. Here is a lace butterfly accent.

Super clustered section.

White lace accent border in the layers.

Die cut accent with neutral tone paper.

Amazing circular frame around the photo and lots of surrounding accents.

Using Heartfelt Creation floral dies and leaves I cut them out of white foamiran.

The flowers are coloured using Distress Oxide and a finger sponge to apply the ink.

I then use the heat gun to shape the flowers and leaves....
it's so easy .. just heat them up.

Flower layers are glued together, pearl stamens added and  glued in clusters with leaves.

Another small cluster.

More close ups for your viewing.

Here is the central section of the page with all the accents but the photo is still front and centre.
Be sure to visit the store to view these and so many more products.

Thanks for stopping by.... see you again soon.  Be sure to visit the store to view these and so many other fabulous products.

Easter Bunny

Easter is close by and I made another Easter Egg box using the instructions I made for you on my tutorial, click HERE.  I love the little Wild Rose Studio Easter Bunny stamp.  I colored it with PanPastels and Copic Markers.
Wild Rose Studio Easter Bunny
I handmade the yellow rose with Foamiran foam.  The leaves are from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose die set and the Happy Easter sentiment came from the Heartfelt Creations Dogwood Chapel.

I glued Venise lace on the edge of the egg.
The Rubber Buggy is taking pre-orders for the LeCrea Design Foam Flower sheets and it comes in many colors to make your foamiran flowers.
So I hope I have inspired you to make an Easter Box with the adorable Wild Rose Studio Easter Bunny stamp, foamiran roses along with the gorgeous Heartfelt Creations Dogwood Chapel stamp sets.  You can purchase these  supplies from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.
Enjoy and Happy Crafting!
